So, I had the oppurtunity to check out a Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. show this weekend here in Dallas. These Detroit natives really impressed me not only with their performance and quality of live sound, but also with their visuals and crowd interaction. These guys took things to another level. They had round sphere lanterns everywhere, with one large white projection sphere serving as a stage centerpiece which showed various colorful animations throughout the show, Circus letter lights that spelled out JR JR (as shown in the photo above), and a bubble machine! There was even a costume change at the end…… and they performed BBD’s “Poison”! This show was really too good to describe properly. If you get a chance, please check these guys out live.
